This is an experimental plane that we built a while back to test our brand-new foam cutter. It's very crude - no paint on the fuse, no glass on the wings, leftover Monokote scraps for covering. But, it did tell us that the design was viable. It flies remarkably well, though without the glassing those wings flex like mad if you're not easy on the elevator inputs.

Unfortunately, a maneuver to avoid a collision with another plane caused the wings to be overstressed and break the joiner out of the wing. Not a surprise, given how weak the wing was. Luckily, the plane was quite low, and, other than the damage to the wing roots, sustained zero damage. It will fly again!

First flight, straight and level as you could possibly hope for.
